Start the season as you mean to go on....

BBC Sport - Football - Sheffield United's Darius Henderson out for four months The Duke's pre-season blog is littered with non-football related detritus. I hope it has fed your thirst and doused your hunger for items. This weekend, the real deal begins. Friday: the Blades are closing the gift shop for three hours so they can exclusively sell the new shirt at 5pm to season ticket holders. It will then go on general sale at 7pm to the slightly less idiotic folks who were smart enough to avoid buying a season ticket. Saturday: Anyone can buy the new shirt. Sunday: Blades open day, with the highlight of Estudiantes playing at Brammall Lane afterwards. Then I'm sure Radio Sheffield will kick off Football Heaven once more and the summer will truly be over. Shame that Hendo is injured. No doubt fans will be crying out for us "changing the style of play". I only wish we had a style of play. COYRAWW!!!

The routes we walked every day are detailed here.  The routes have the pictures dotted along the way.  If you're not too bothered by the walks and just want to see the pics, they are also detailed.  Note that I treat "day 1" as being the first day walking, not the first day of the holiday. Day1 Trail Day2 Trail Day3 Trail Day4 Trail (we did Monastero) Day5 Trail Day6 Trail (walk down to Lake Guingueta) No photos for Day1 :-( Day2 Photos Only Day3 Photos Only Day4 Photos Only Day5 Photos Only Day6 Photos Only Note that all the photos are geo-tagged, so you can see where they were taken.

BBC Sport - Football - World Cup 2010: Dutch coach criticises referee Webb

BBC Sport - Football - World Cup 2010: Dutch coach criticises referee Webb Hmmm.... I seem to think he is looking through orange shpectacles. I think Dutch went to kick lumps out of Spain and got away with it. Webb tried to let the game go and not "spoil the game" by sending players off, but maybe he should have been more harsh.
