The cold weather did nothing to stifle the lure that a new manager brings. John Carver won his first game in charge of Leeds, then lost seven on the trot (apparently). Blades looked a poor side again; Swansea a poor, but pretty side. Not a great game. At least we won and Chedwyn took his goal quite well. My mate told us he is off to Syndey, Australia for 3 months and did we know anyone who wanted his ticket. I had a bit of a think, but when he said he wanted a fiver a game, I told him he'd be luck to shift it! He also pointed out that there were probably more in Swansea's entourage (players, physios, kit men, directors) than there were in the crowd. Not going to the game on the 26th, as I'm on call.
